Our leaflet “Appendectomy (ChB 9”) describes the conventional open/laparoscopic appendectomy, the laparoscopic single port appendectomy as well as the laparoscopically assisted method. As a new procedure, the Hybrid NOTES appendectomy is also indicated. Additionally, the instructions for after an outpatient procedure are represented in detail in order to fulfil the requirements of therapeutic safety.
