This informed consent leaflet (“PlOp 7”) describes surgical enlargement of the female breast by implants. Both types of implants you can select, “round” or “tear-shaped”, are mentioned. The leaflet provides information about the procedure, the alternatives, the prospects of success and possible risks, and also provides instructions. The new edition also refers to the obligation to report to the implant register.
