The informed consent leaflet “Operations on the Hand (M 8/M 9)” is worded in general terms and can be used for the following diseases/deformities of the hand: congenital malformations, acquired changes, recent injuries, consequences of injuries such as damage to tendons or nerves. Other disorders of the hand, the planned surgical procedures and, if necessary, additional measures such as covering defects, removal of autologous material, and bone replacement material can be added.
