Herzoperationen und Eingriffe an den herznahen großen Gefäßen bei Kindern

The informed consent leaflet “Surgery on the Heart and Large Vessels Surrounding the Heart in Children” (ChT 4c) is addressed to the parents of children with an acute heart disease and of newborns/infants with a congenital heart disease or abnormal blood vessels. The leaflet contains no concrete symptoms and operations but mentions all important aspects about which the parents need to be informed in order to consent to such operation for their child.
