The informed consent leaflet “Surgical Eyelid Lift (PO 3)” describes the procedure for surgical lifting of sagging skin of the eyelid – for example the correction of hooded eyes at the upper eyelid or the surgical removal of bags under the eyes at the lower eyelid. In the current edition, a short passage was also included about a possibly required opening of the eye socket for the removal of excessive fatty tissue (fat hernia).
