Hormone therapy for metastasised, hormone-sensitive prostate cancer has changed considerably in recent years. The leaflet “Lowering/Blocking of Male Hormones in Prostate Carcinoma (UTh 4c)” describes the current state of the art of androgen deprivation (hormone deprivation therapy) with LHRH analogues, LHRH antagonists, abirateron as well as the modern anti-androgens in accordance with the current S3 Guidelines on Prostate Cancer published in May 2024.
